Mission Partners

Tyson Family

Paris, France

Todd and Amanda Tyson, along with children Tessa, 12, Sophie, 10, Luke, 5, and infant Victoria, are returning to Paris, France, this summer. For the past three years they have led “The Bridge”, a team-oriented, international church-planting church and ministry center which serves people from over 40 nations! This city of 12 million has a lot of religious history and symbolism, but less than 1% evangelical believers. The Bridge serves to connect people to Christ and to each other, and to make disciples. It also provides outreach through short-term teams and study-abroad opportunities for students preparing for ministry and missions.

Steve and Faith Leach

Bombardopolis, Haiti

For the past 15 years, we have been IMF missionaries in Bombardopolis, Haiti. There have been a lot of changes in the last 15 years for us and the mission. One steadfast enduring thing has been God’s guidance and provision. What a blessing to labor for the Lord where He has placed us, knowing He faithfully equips those He calls. Stepping out to follow God wherever He leads has been a learning experience. It’s amazing to look back and see where we started and where He has brought us; as a mission, as a family and in our personal spiritual lives. Though sometimes the future looks daunting, when we remember it’s not our task to accomplish anything but rather just to Follow the Master – in this, we have peace and contentment.

Mustard Seed Christian Church

Nagoya, Japan

In January of 2010, a team of church planters launched Mustard Seed Christian Church in the upstairs of a small sports bar in the center of Nagoya, Japan. That 1st Sunday thirty-seven people attended and the church has slowly been growing ever since. Over the past two years, Mustard Seed Christian Church has baptized new believers and raised up a small group of committed Christians that regularly attend and volunteer with the church. Members help weekly with the worship service and have been involved in mid-week Bible studies as well as service projects with the city’s homeless and in trips to aid those affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. God is growing the church both in numbers and in depth of discipleship! The future of Mustard Seed Christian Church in Nagoya is bright, but there is still a major need for continued evangelism, ongoing discipleship and leadership training in a place where only 1% of around 10 million residents are Christians.
